Fort Collins, CO (PRWEB) February 24, 2005
The Andes Academy, a world-class instructional program for Spanish, skiing and snowboarding in Patagonia, Argentina, announced today their summer 2005 program. This one of a kind program enables students to submerge into a one-month intensive program where they will rapidly develop their skills in skiing, snowboarding and Spanish, at Catedral Alta Patagonia, the premier ski resort in South America. Situated just outside the city of Bariloche, it runs along Nahuel Huapi Lake in the heart of the Andes, and is located 1,000 miles southwest of Buenos Aires. Students will master tricks many people only dream of such as: carving, moguls, free-ride and jumps within an incredible Spanish immersion environment. Students will live in Bariloche, a city famous for its natural beauty, great snow and variety of terrain.
The Spanish language program provides students with the necessary instruction to communicate with ease in this Spanish-speaking culture. Students may choose between two intensive courses, the emergency course for travelers or the advanced course for a more in-depth instruction of the language.
Program dates:
July 4 Â July 29, 2005 and August 2 Â August 30, 2005
Four-week intensive course includes:
80 hours on the snow training.
Technical skills development to ski confidently on a variety of terrain.
Ski training that includes skiing on groomed snow, in powder, moguls and chutes.
Video analysis of technique taken from DVD
