Founder and President of Alchemist Media Elected To SEMPO Board for Another Term

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 28, 2005 -– Jessie Stricchiola has been re-elected to the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) Board of Directors. She is the Founder and President of Alchemist Media, Inc., a Los Angeles Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Click Fraud Auditing Company.

In 1997, while finishing her studies at Smith College, Stricchiola began working at a small search engine optimization company called DISC. During her time there, she studied the practice of SEO with a focus on legitimacy and relevance – and embarked on a truly rewarding career in the incredibly dynamic and exciting industry of search engine marketing. DISC, owned by Rob Laporte, a well respected SEO consultant, has now become one of the more successful search engine optimization firms in New England.

After leaving DISC, Stricchiola went on to hold SEO and search engine marketing (SEM) positions at various Los Angeles companies, and in 2001, she handled her first click fraud case with what was then GoTo.com. In 2002, Stricchiola formed Alchemist Media, Inc., a full service SEM and SEO company in Los Angeles that provides high end SEO services as well as comprehensive click fraud auditing and refund negotiation, and since that time she has been a guest speaker at Jupiter Medias Search Engine Strategies and Webmaster Worlds World of Search Conferences, speaking on both search engine optimization and CPC advertising panels.

Stricchiola is one of the original founders of SEMPO, and has held a seat on the Board of Directors since the non-profit professional association was formed in 2003. SEMPO is working to increase awareness and promote the value of search engine marketing worldwide.
