The Scarlet Poppy, One-of-a-Kind Jewelry Design, Launches New Website

Designers, Michelle Fowler and Jennafer Bryan began creating one-of-a-kind jewelry for local boutique's and weddings in early 2004.  Their innovative designs are now available in a new online store, http://www.scarletpoppy.com.  Their unique brand of exceptionally handcrafted jewelry is already creating a buzz on designer websites nationwide.  Stylebakery.com will feature them as one of their "Designer's on the Rise" section that will run from April 2005 through September 2005.

About The Scarlet Poppy
Inspired by the natural beauty of the South Carolina coastal lowcountry and the historical, stunning architecture of Charleston, they handcraft their jewelry with only the finest semi-precious gems, fine metals and other natural materials.
 
Socially conscious, they donate a portion of all proceeds of their "Tots" Jewelry line to Chinese Children Charities of Colorado, an organization which provides 100% of the donations received to children in the orphanages of China.  As an adoptive mother of a Chinese daughter, Jennafer Bryan has felt the desire to help the children left behind.  She and her husband are now in the process of adopting another baby from China. 
 
Michelle and Jennafer's love and passion for their craft is easily identified in the beauty and quality of their jewelry.  Michelle was born in Colombia, South America and Jennafer in New Jersey.   They met almost 20 years ago in Asheville, NC where they both lived before moving away with their families, Michelle to Connecticut and Jennafer to Cashiers, NC.   They both found themselves living in Charleston, SC years later when they discovered their mutual love of jewelry design.  Thus, The Scarlet Poppy was born.
