Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt, Winston Churchill and Richard Frisbee all Snored...Who is Richard Frisbee and Why Do We Care?

Out of desperation to sleep in the same room as her snoring husband, Christine Frisbee invents the SnoreEzzz snore reduction pillow.

(PRWEB) February 3, 2005 -- Christine Frisbee of New York City, invented a pillow that prevents her husband from snoring. Having moved from a house in Connecticut to a small apartment in New York City the day before 9/11, this entrepreneur enjoyed a single night where he stopped snoring. She decided that she would try to emulate this and figure out how to get Richard to stop snoring for the rest of the time!

Over 40% of adults snore. It is like an epidemic in todays society. Christines husband, Rick, became a loud snorer over the past few years. They, like most couples, ended up sleeping in separate rooms. Christine wanted to solve the problem so that they could sleep in the same room. Two years in development and patent pending, the pillow is now being manufactured by First Impressions Productions, LLC of New York.

It has been a lot of work and has taken fortitude to get this far", Christine Frisbee said when asked how she invented the pillow.

Right before she was ready to go to the New York Textiles Show in New in the fall of 2004, a friend told her that she needed to apply for FDA approval because it was considered a medical device. Frustrated that there was yet one more hurdle, Christine went on line to figure out how to do this. She had gotten her MBA as an adult and knew about deadlines, so she proceeded as if there was a deadline for her. Two weeks later and many of reams of paper later, she had her application into the FDA. A short time afterwards she received word from the FDA that she got approval to market the pillow. The pillow won a finalist award at the New York Textiles Show.

The new pillow offers both comfort and it reduces snoring. The pillow top is made of the highest quality polyfill clusters. This makes the pillow unique and comfortable to rest your head on. The base is made of foam to support the neck and head.

The head rests lightly backwards, enabling the muscles in the throat to open, thus enabling more airflow. This reduces the chances of snoring. It is the Ultimate Pillow" because of its comfort and flexibility. It is wonderful as a backrest because of the foam core. It is also useful as a leg support when sitting in bed. It is hypoallergenic.

There have been many success stories with the pillow from men and women of various ages. Christine hopes it will be sold in retail stores, catalogues, through direct marketing as well as on the website beginning February 2005. The product is presently available in the standard size. King and Queen sizes will be added soon. There is a separate pillowcase for the pillow, as it is larger than standard pillowcases. The SnoreEzzz pillow website is http://www.snoreezzz.com. A media kit and photos are available on request.
