Party Poker Bonus Codes and Badbeat Jackpots

For a limited time, Party Poker is offering exclusive Party Poker Bonus Codes. Take advantage of these and take your chance at winning the next jackpot.

(PRWEB) February 10, 2005 -- PartyPoker is proud to announce that the largest Progressive Bad Beat Poker Jackpot hit the record sum of $739,621 with one player winning over 250,000.

What is a Bad Beat?
A Bad Beat is when a very strong poker hand is beaten by an even stronger poker hand. An example would be four jacks losing to four kings. Although this is a rare occurrence, it does happen. Imagine playing poker and your four of a kind loses to a straight flush. Now that is a bad beat!

What is a Bad Beat Jackpot?
A Bad Beat Jackpot is a progressive jackpot that is paid out whenever a bad beat occurs. A bad beat on the Party Poker platform is whenever four 8's or better loses to a bigger hand. Keep in mind, you must play both hole cards for the jackpot to be paid out. The loser of the hand receives 50%, the winner of the hand receives 25% and the remaining 25% is split amongst the rest of the players on the table. Please note that these amounts are after the 10% administrative fee and 20% seed money fee for the next jackpot.

Enjoy your favorite games at Party Poker and have a chance of winning a huge jackpot.

**If you are having trouble deciding whether to take the $25 bonus or the 20% bonus, here is a hint to maximize your bonus. If you plan on depositing $125 or more, choose the 20% option, otherwise it would be more beneficial to choose the $25 option.
