Heather Hafen steamrolls through 112 players to capture Ladies Title.
(PRWEB) March 4, 2005 -- The Harrahs Rincon Casino in beatiful San Diego, Calfornia was the site for WSOP/Ladies International Poker Series (http://www.lipstour.com) No-Limit Holdem Tournament.
With a field of 112 ladies, Heather Hafen took down the top prize of $7285.00. Hafen, from Las Vegas, NV, mother of four and a kindergarten teacher outlasted a strong field of 112 ladies in this third stop of the WSOP Circuit Tour in conjunction with the Ladies International Poker Series (www.LipsTour.com).
Hafen arrived at the final table of nine was second in chip count. She then marched forward, and then defeated the current Calfornia State Ladies Champion, Ruby Lewinson in an exciting Heads up match.
For her effort, Hafen was awarded $7285.00, a crystal trophy by Lupe Soto, Tourney Director of Ladies International Poker Series and a gold pendant from Harrahs Rincon Casino and the WSOP Circuit Tour.
