ScanDBX Corporation Announces the Release of the only Microsoft Certified Outlook Express Repair Tool: ScanDBX for Outlook Express

ScanDBX Corporation, a commercial developer of Microsoft Windows utilities, announced today the release of ScanDBX. ScanDBX is the only product on the market that comprehensively analyzes and repairs Microsoft Outlook Express home and commercial installations.

Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) March 5, 2005 -- ScanDBX Corporation, a commercial developer of Microsoft Windows utilities, announced today the release of ScanDBX. ScanDBX is the only product on the market that comprehensively analyzes and repairs Microsoft Outlook Express home and commercial installations.

Microsoft provides every Windows 98 to Windows XP machine with a copy of Outlook Express as the primary e-mail client. However, a users e-mail could be lost forever and the program itself permanently damaged by simply rebooting the machine or inadvertently terminating the Outlook Express program at the wrong" time.

Microsoft does not provide a repair utility for Outlook Express that addresses this problem. When Outlook Express fails to start or large blocks of e-mail go missing due to e-mail file corruption, Microsofts only official solution has been to delete the corrupted files – meaning the user will lose some or all of their email forever unless the files have been backed up. ScanDBX is the first product to give a solution to the hundreds of millions of worldwide Windows users faced with this common problem.

Product Differentiation: Simple yet Sophisticated

The large market for this type of product is made up of users with different skill levels. Consequently, ScanDBX was designed to be both simple to use and comprehensive in its ability to diagnose and repair problems with minimal input required by the user.

To achieve these objectives, ScanDBX created the most comprehensive set of e-mail file scan and repair in-place engines that have ever existed for Outlook Express. The product handles file corruption, duplicate e-mails, oversized files, and a host of other known problems with Outlook Express files (called DBX files).

Besides e-mail file corruption, there are a large number of other problems that can cause Outlook Express to stop functioning properly. To solve these other problems, ScanDBX utilizes an artificial intelligence engine based on Microsoft's extensive Knowledge Base and other 3rd party sources. The feature set and user interface were developed with the input of the Microsoft Outlook Express development group, PSS, as well as other internal groups within Microsoft.

A Trusted Company and Product
The product was developed over a three year period, with the last year involving extensive external beta testing by a large number of Outlook Express customers. ScanDBX is the only product of its type with the Microsoft Certified for Windows XP" logo. ScanDBX is also the only developer of tools for Outlook Express that is a Microsoft Certified Partner.

"There are other companies out there that claim to have a solution for Outlook Express customers, but none solve every known issue with Outlook Express and none are Microsoft Partners or have a Microsoft Certified product," says Philip Lieberman, President of ScanDBX Corporation. "We have taken the time to develop a high-quality product that can stand up to independent certification, which demonstrates our commitment to the Outlook Express community."

Although Microsoft does not endorse or recommend any third party software products, Microsoft will provide a link from their Outlook Express support site to the www.scandbx.com web site.

Pricing and Availability
ScanDBX for Outlook Express is available now for direct download and purchase via the ScanDBX web site, www.scandbx.com. Pricing begins at $79.99 with licenses for use on two machines. Volume pricing for commercial users is provided on the web site.
