About VeriChip(TM)
VeriChip is a miniaturized, radio frequency identification (RFID) device that can be used in a variety of security, financial, emergency identification and other applications.

About the size of a grain of rice, each VeriChip product contains a unique verification number and will be available in several formats, some of which will be insertable under the skin.

The verification number is captured by briefly passing a proprietary scanner over the VeriChip. A small amount of radio frequency energy passes from the scanner energizing the dormant VeriChip, which then emits a radio frequency signal transmitting the verification number.

In October 2002, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ruled that VeriChip was not a regulated device with regard to its security, financial, personal identification/safety applications but that VeriChip's healthcare information applications are regulated by the FDA. VeriChip Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Applied Digital Solutions. Further info: www.4VeriChip.com ; www.VeriChip.com.my

How does VERICHIP Works
VERICHIP Acts as a gateway to a persons medical information. Once implanted just under the skin, via a quick, simple and painless out patient Procedure (Much like getting a shot), the VERICHIP can be scanned when necessary with a proprietary VERICHIP Scanner. A small amount of radio frequency energy passes from the scanner energizing the dormant VERICHIP, which then emits a radio frequency signal transmitting the individuals unique personal verification number. Via the internet or a secure server, the VERICHIP ID number provides access to the designated secure healthcare information database (Global VERICHIP Subscribers Registry or a person healthcare providers selected system) containing the patient or provider supplied data.

Inforlexus is already partnering with local HIS (Hospital Information system) company to used VERICHIP to access medical records.

Why VERICHIP?
In an emergency, VERICHIP can provide healthcare workers with a person name and pertinent personal information when a person cant speak, a person cant remember, or a person is unconscious. Healthy adults are able to verbally provide personal health history. Patient with chronic disease can have a communication barrier due to loss of consciousness, impaired speech, or memory loss, which can lead to treatment delays and/ or contribute to medical errors.

More
Common Chronic illness in which impaired communication can occur
1. Seizure disorders
2. Stroke
3. Diabetes
4. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
5. Cardiac conditions
6. Alzheimers disease
7. Complex medical treatment

How is the VERICHIP system an improvement over current health information access information?

Immediate
This secure, tamper-proof microchip technology provides immediate identification and retrieval of subscriber-supplied healthcare information at facilities equipped with the appropriate RFID readers and authorization to access a person information.

Safe and Secure
Password-protected, secure access to records assures only a person or your designee can enter information and that only healthcare providers currently viewing a person medical information will have access to a person data

More
Always Ready
VERICHIP accomplishes this without batteries or ant internal source of power. It lies dormant under a person skin until energized by a proprietary VERICHIP reader. The VERICHIP then transmits a person personal verification number in milliseconds to the external reader.

Always with a person
Because its implanted under a person skin its always there when a person need it regardless of where a person other kinds of identification might be.

Reversible
Unlike federal or state ID numbers, finger prints, or iris scans, a person VERICHIP can be removed if a person wish by a brief office procedure- and a person no longer can be identified by the verification number

Easy to update a person information
The VERICHIP system provides the wearer with the flexibility to update a person information on-line at any time
