Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) March 12, 2005 -- HaiVision Systems Inc., a leading supplier of broadband IP video products, announces today the release and immediate availability of a breakthrough video product for mobile communications – the hai210M Mobile Communicator. The hai210M is a wireless communication device enabling command and control personnel to communicate in real-time using voice and video with mobile field operatives. This innovative device is ideal for remote servicing, training, home healthcare, and public security front line operations where experts and decision makers require the greatest degree of interaction and information from the field.

The hai210M features a headset with an integrated camera, microphone, and headphone. The video feed is compressed using MPEG-4 hardware technology, and transmitted via a wireless connection (WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth) along with bi-directional audio to any IP-enabled location where it is displayed in a command and control center. The hai210M also includes a handheld camera for close-up inspections and an auxiliary video input port to support an array of custom devices (such as a video otoscope for ear and throat examination for home health care).

The hai210M reinforces HaiVisions commitment to delivering complete solutions to the market based on unique network video technologies," states Peter Maag, Vice President of Haivision Systems Inc. "Integrated with other HaiVision products, the hai210M Mobile Communicator delivers a flexible, yet powerful environment enabling high value experts and decision makers to address situations beyond there immediate reach."
