Dharma Provides Data Access Solution for Java Applications

Dharma Systems, Inc., releases Dharma SDK for Java.

Brookline, N.H. (PRWEB) March 16, 2005 — Dharma Systems, Inc., a leader in the design and development of query technology for use in data access solutions, announced the release of Dharma Software Development Kit (SDK) for Java.

DdharmaLogo.jpgharma has added Dharma SDK for Java to its popular family of Data Access SDK products. Dharma's advanced query technology allows Java application developers to provide ODBC, JDBC and .NET access to their Java Applications.

Now Java application developers do not have to deal with the complexity of cross language access such as JNI (Java Native Interface) to provide ODBC (Open Data Base Connectivity) or .NET support nor do they need to write their own drivers to provide a Type IV JDBC (Java Data Base Connectivity) driver.

Documentation for Dharma SDK is available from the Dharma Web site.

Dharma's technology includes a high performance optimizing SQL engine that provides the ultimate in power and flexibility. It is designed to plug into any Java application that stores data in either relational or non-relational formats.

Dharma's ODBC SDK for Java, JDBC SDK for Java and .NET SDK for Java provide the power and performance of Dharma's SQL technology through an easy to implement binary package. And its fast to the data, fast to market.

Customers can access the data through ODBC, JDBC, .NET, ADO and OLEDB.

Dharma provides full-featured SQL technology for a fraction of the cost of enhancing and maintaining a customers own implementation.

An ODBC Driver or JDBC Driver opens a customers data to the power and flexibility of literally hundreds of different reporting tools, enabling customers to view the data through the interface of their choice.

Dharma Systems pioneered the design, development, and marketing of advanced query technology products to provide data access solutions. With almost two decades of experience, Dharma is the leader in the field.

Dharma SDK for Java is immediately available. More information can be found at http://www.dharma.com.

Dharma Systems has developed the technology and methodology to deliver cost-effective java applications solutions that provide robust data accessibility and interoperability solutions. The company has offices in Tarrytown, N.Y., and Brookline, N.H., as well as a wholly owned subsidiary in Bangalore, India.
