A3 Technologies Releases "A3Access1.0"

A3Access 1.0 is great alternative for any developer with .Net experience. It provides the necessary means to handle any database calls from a Windows Mobile client to an Access database wirelessly. Developers can use the many advantages of the .Net development environment that other systems cant offer. The data can be manipulated, sorted, and edited through ADO.Net and easily sent back to the database.

(PRWEB) March 19, 2005 -- A3Access 1.0 provides a means of bridging this communication gap. This application resides on the same PC as the database. The server application can communicate with the client by both receiving SQL statements and sending data back to the device. The server also communicates with database and performs the SQL statements.

With this gap between the mobile applications in the .NET environment and MS Access databases, there are various options available to a customer. The first is to purchase and use Sequel server as the database. For many customers this is NOT viable due to cost, maintenance, and conversion labor. The second alternative is to buy one of many available third- party IDEs that provides this communication. With most third-party solutions you must purchase and develop the application in their proprietary development environment.

Typical third party solutions can range in cost between $700 and $1,500 dollars per connection depending on the level of customization available in the software. Starting price licenses are very basic and can handle only one input box per screen, limiting to only providing text and drop-down boxes on their forms.

Combining A3Access 1.0" and .NET enables you to take advantage of many features not available in other development environments. With .NET the developer has access to all the Windows Mobile features that third-party IDEs do not support such as outside files in XML, socket communication, drawing, Input/Output, and string manipulations. This enables application development with features outside of the basics, such as printing to a portable printer, sending email, creating files, ftp, and many more.

A3 Technologies is a premier integrator of mobile data management systems; developing, deploying and servicing productivity solutions based on diverse wireless technologies, innovative software applications for portable barcode devices and RFID for mobile asset tracking and asset security.
