Freebirds World Burrito launched On The Fly (OTF), their online ordering system. OTF allows customers to choose from Freebirds' menu selections, which are found on the web site www.freebirds.com, and customize the order for fast pick-up.

(PRWEB) March 21, 2005 -- Freebirds World Burrito, the Texas-based fresh fast casual restaurant known for its Monster burritos, announced today the launch of On The Fly (OTF), their online ordering system. OTF allows customers to choose from Freebirds' menu selections, which are found on the web site www.freebirds.com, and customize the order for fast pick-up. The service is available in all Freebirds markets, Austin, College Station, Dallas, Ft. Worth, and Houston.

Freebirds OTF ordering process is simple for customers. From the OTF page, they will see a full menu. They make their selections by keying in the items and clicking "Add Item". A panel on left right will display the items ordered. When they have completed their selections and hit submit, the store receives the order and calls the customer to confirm the order. When the customer arrives, their order is ready at the cashier.

Our customers stand to benefit immensely from having the luxury of ordering food online, particularly those with short lunch breaks or who would prefer their food to go," said Alan Hixon, CEO of Freebirds World Burrito. Our online ordering system streamlines the ordering process, making preparation for take-out orders more efficient. The customers enter their selection preferences exactly as though they were at one of our restaurants."

According to the National Restaurant Association, dining out or ordering take-out has become second nature where time and convenience are of the essence. Freebirds online ordering technology is designed to enhance effectiveness, advance its competitive stance, and increase food-to-go sales.
