(PRWEB) March 31, 2005 -- Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group (VMSG) announces the Grand Opening of their new 15,000 facility, located less than one mile from their current hospital location. Open House is April 10, 2005 between 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The public is invited.
This impressive new building boasts the latest state-of-the-art medical and surgical equipment and facilities for orthopedic, neurologic, soft tissue and thoracic procedures including: video laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and arthroscopy, spiral computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, digital radiology and fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, intraoperative radiology, ECG telemetry, physical therapy and much, much more.
This facility represents the most advanced veterinary medical and surgical facility in California. With the new facility and equipment the 15 veterinarians on staff will offer diagnostic and treatment capabilities that are comprehensive and unsurpassed in veterinary practice. Additionally the new facility will allow the surgeons to more efficiently perform such procedures as total hip joint replacement, arthroscopy, TPLO (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy), hemilaminectomy for intervertebral disc rupture, spinal fracture repair, thoracic surgery such as lung lobectomy or thoracoscopic pericardiectomy, and a full range of soft tissue, abdominal, and oncologic (cancer) surgery.
The new location campus will provide pet owners comfort when visiting with a warm, comfortable lobby and client facilities that include a lounge, private consultation rooms and approximately an acre large park with private seating, exercise areas and even an outdoor dining and gathering area. The facility will also serve as a center of education for the local veterinary community as continuing education meetings will be held regularly in the 1000sf. conference center that looks on to the surgical center. Greg Stoutenburgh, Hospital Director, recently stated, "We are very pleased to continue our mission by providing the best medical technologies for our patients. Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group (VMSG) is owned by Kenneth Bruecker, MS, DVM, Diplomate ACVS. Dr. Bruecker established VMSG in 1988.
