LebaneseShop.com Launches in Solidarity to Cedar Revolution Movement

A portion of the sales from pro-Lebanon T-shirts will go to support the opposition, regardless of political party or religious affiliation.

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) March 31, 2005 -Lebanon website at www.lebaneseshop.com, featuring T-shirts, flags, bumper stickers and similar items. A portion of sales from the T-shirts will go to benefit the opposition, regardless of political party or religious affiliation.

LebaneseShop.coms founder explained, "Sitting in the U.S., miles away from what has become known as the 'Cedar Revolution' where more than one million if not two million Lebanese demonstrated in support of freedom, sovereignty, and independence on that memorable day, March 14, 2005, I decided to start a website commemorating their feat."

The T-shirts, which are printed and sold in the United States and available exclusively at LebaneseShop.com, retail for $12.99 and feature pro-Lebanon slogans such as:

  • We are all Lebanese
  • Christians and Muslims united for a free Lebanon
  • Independence 05: Made by the Lebanese in Lebanon and the Lebanese Living Abroad
  • Too small to be divided – too big to be swallowed
  • By pride, by choice, by birth – 110% Lebanese

Spurred by the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri, the opposition dubbed as the Cedar Revolution has gained momentum since February 2005. Protesters across geographical, religious, class and age boundaries have joined together to demand both the truth behind the assassination and the removal of all foreign forces from Lebanese territory.

The founder added, "It is my hope, like millions of Lebanese, Lebanese-Americans and friends of Lebanon, that Lebanon can live at peace with its neighbors. It is in this spirit that this endeavor has been started—long live a free Lebanon."

Graphic designers and illustrators in support of the Cedar Revolution are encouraged to submit pro-Lebanon artwork and graphics to LebaneseShop.com for T-shirt consideration. Artwork guidelines are available and T-shirt purchases may be made at http://www.lebaneseshop.com.
