Power Media Releases Updated Version of MultiTask

Power Media, an electronic media services company, has released MultiTask II, the latest version of its successful task management software for the Palm handheld.

Portland, OR (PRWEB) April 2, 2005 -- Power Media, Inc. has released the completely revamped and upgraded MultiTask II, the latest version of its successful task management software for Palm handheld computing devices.

So many people operate in their jobs and personal lives with the help of a personal handheld computer today," says Gary Greco of Power Media. They need software that is powerful, yet easy to start using, so that they dont have to spend hours poring over the fine print of a technical manual."

MultiTask II, which has been especially tuned to work with the latest Palm OS 5* devices, operates by allowing a user to create individual activity tasks that go towards making up a bigger project template. Project completion is thus broken down into a list of To-Do tasks, appointments and schedules. This approach allows users across a range of industries to quickly create lists of activities for projects that can be used over and over again. After creating templates of tasks, it takes only seconds to have the To-Do items and appointments appear in the user's schedule, with information particular to that project.

In practical terms, the layout is an ideal tool for task management. In the example scenario of a construction project, there are certain activities – a review of plans, labor scheduling, equipment supply, onsite reviews, final inspection and billing – that follow each other in a clear-cut schedule. With MultiTask II, the user can build To-Do templates out of these tasks before starting any project, sort them by date, and have the template available when a project comes up. By simply inserting the project particulars into one of the users templates, it ensures that each item is carried out in order to attain project completion.

That convenience and ease of operation is really whats missing in so many Palm task management software titles right now," says Greco. With MultiTask II, youll have that big project and important deadlines well in hand, whether that big project is selling a house, coordinating a wedding, getting the kids to a game or making sure everything is in order for a family outing."

*Works on Palm OS 3.5 through OS 5.
