Obnoxiously Loud Rock Band Undercurrent to Play Live at The Cat Club on Sunset Blvd. April 20, 2005

Hollywood female-fronted rock band Undercurrent continue to play live venues in Los Angeles with The Cat Club and The Roxy Theatre next on their schedule. They just completed shooting their first music video for "Night & Day" and will be in pre-production for the next music video installment soon.

(PRWEB) April 19, 2005 -- Still keeping with their trend of caked-on glam makeup and sharp suits, this loud foursome are performing around Los Angeles while simultaneously shooting a string of music videos with writer/director Erin Strater. "We want to make as much art as possible and then release it into the atmosphere," says lead vocalist Rachel Car. "We enjoy working with Erin. I, as well as the band, feel comfortable in front of her camera and her crew. Her visual ideas are so wild...she is the right kind of crazy we need."

The band members of Undercurrent are lead vocalist/co-songwriter Rachel Car, guitarist/co-songwriter George Wabisca, drummer Justin "J.L." Laughlin and bass player Joann Fabrizio. They had just completed recording their first full length album to add to their already vast growing library of original songs, including the previous experimental album "We Want Money", currently available at Tower.com. All materials, including streaming samples of the new album, music videos and other candid video of the band and production crew, pictures and shows will be available on their website soon. The album with the music video "Night and Day" will be for sale exclusively online from the site, which will include bonus materials for fans.

Undercurrent has been performing live in Los Angeles the last month. Catch their future shows at The Cat Club on April 20th and at The Roxy Theatre in May of 2005.
