The 2005 Summer Semi-Annual Design Contest is Drawing Near, and the American Design Awards is Preparing for a Record Number of Entries

The American Design Awards (ADA) is putting out a call for entries, inviting graphic and web designers domestic and international, to take part in the upcoming 2005 Summer Semi-Annual Design Contest in August which is expected to surpass the 2004 event in terms of number of participants.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 13, 2005 -- Since its inception in 2000, the American Design Awards has been holding a Monthly Design Contest as well as an Annual Design Contest open to designers worldwide. Due to its popularity, the latter was divided into two manageable yet integrated design events; the Winter Semi-Annual Design Contest (February), and the Summer Semi-Annual Design Contest (August) back in October of 2004 to facilitate the overwhelming number of participants.

The Semi-Annual Design Contests offer fourteen (14) various design categories to compete in, including Logo, Corporate Identity, Web Site, Flash Animation, Print/Magazine, Poster, Brochure, Catalog, Annual Report, Advertising, Mailer/Postcard, Self Promotion, Packaging Art, and CD ROM design.

Each year entries arrive a couple of months prior to the competition, but this year we have already received a handful of entries, signaling a strong turnout," said Kevin Javid of American Design Awards.
