Good Grief - Charlie Brown and Peanuts Gang Come to Life in Production at Historic Philadelphia Theater

For more than 50 years, the world has laughed, sighed and identified with Charlie Brown and his Peanuts friends through comics, television and stage. Clark Gesner wrote the original play, music and lyrics. In its Broadway revival of 1999, the production was re-imagined by the creative team of Michael Mayer and Andrew Lippa (composer/lyricist of the Off-Broadway Wild Party) – with the blessing of Mr. Schultz. The new version received four Tony nominations: Best Revival of a Musical, Best Director, Best Featured Actor in a Musical (Roger Bart, Snoopy) and Best Featured Actress in a Musical (Kristin Chenowith, Sally). This truly is a brand new look at the wildly popular show and it will be entertainment the whole family can enjoy!

Plays and Players Theatre is located at 1714 Delancey Place, Philadelphia, PA. Tickets are available at the Plays & Players box office thirty minutes before show time. Plays and Players is a non-profit community theatre group, and is one of the oldest continuously operating community theaters in America.
