SecureUSA to Showcase New Perimeter Security Solution The Fire Bollard"

SecureUSA, Inc. a provider of perimeter protection design, consulting, and installation announced that is will be showcasing its new BX300 Series Fire Bollard" solution at FPED V to be held at Quantico Marine Base.

Cumming, GA (PRWEB) April 20, 2005 -- In 2003, SecureUSA completed a full design and installation perimeter security project for GSA. The perimeter security project located at 26 Federal Plaza incorporated a custom bollard made specifically for the emergency access application at hand. The crash rated bollard was fabricated to be manually removable by hand, and incorporated a locking mechanism on the top to be used by the NY Fire Department and emergency respondents. The custom design was developed to address the need for a bollard that could be removed in emergency settings quickly by hand, while also being cost effective. A total of 30 Fire Bollards" were installed at the location and have been successfully used to date.

Due to recent demand, SecureUSA said it will be introducing a standard bollard series, the BX300 Fire Bollard" similar to the custom model used at the previous US Marshals Project (26 Federal Plaza). SecureUSA says the BX300 Series Bollard will have all of the same capabilities as the previously installed custom bollard. Jerry Gibson, SecureUSAs Director of Sales, commented concerning the move to add the BX300 Series Bollard, It was a decorative solution to a normally ugly situation, an excellent design, and most importantly, our customers like it. So with the recent demand for similar solutions, we have to decided to add the new bollard series to our line of perimeter security products." SecureUSA also noted that the addition of BX300 series standard model will be more cost effective to produce and in turn cheaper for the customer to purchase than the previous custom bollard solution.    SecureUSA is said to be demonstrating the new BX300 Series Bollard at this years Force Protection Equipment Demonstration at Quantico Marine Base.
