Statistical Analysis:
Available crime statistics and other pertinent data are obtained from local public safety agencies and private reporting services. Analysis of police activity reports and statistical data provides valuable information regarding crime types, crime rates, and calls for police service for the selected location.

Area Survey:
A skilled investigator conducts a site visit which may include a door-to-door check of neighboring residences or businesses to gather facts and opinions about criminal activity, disturbances and general quality of life in the area. If desired, surveillance of the location may be conducted to obtain first hand information about activity in the area.
