(PRWEB) April 21, 2005 -- Richard F. Wahl was appointed Public Affairs Liaison to the State Board of Equalization First District, by the Honorable Betty T. Yee. Wahl was formally at Precision Graphics Print & Design in San Leandro where he held the position of Business Development director. He will officially assume his new duties on April 21, 2005. The State Board of Equalization collects tax and fees that provide nearly 34 percent of the annual revenue for the state government, counties, cities and special districts, which then funds education, public safety, health care, transportation, social services and natural resource management. The First District Counties are Alameda, Colusa, Contra Costa, Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Marin, Napa, San Benito, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, Trinity, Yolo, and a portion of Santa Barbara.
