Pedophiles are Getting on School Campuses - We Have Proof

V-soft a web-based software developed by Houston based Raptor Technologies, Inc. is being used at school campuses to identify Registered Sex Offenders; many of whom are parents. The software instantly screens all visitors against 42 states sex offender databases.

Pedophiles and other Registered Sex Offenders are getting on school campuses-and we have proof. Raptor Technologies, Inc., a Houston based company, has developed a software product called V-soft. It is a web based software that is in use in more 550 schools in Texas, Florida, Maryland, Illinois, and Arizona. Our software was designed to screen and track visitors to school campuses by scanning a state issued ID. Each visitor is instantly screened against available sex offender databases. If a match is found, an alert appears with the offender's picture for verification. Upon verification, an instant message or e-mail can be sent to designated administrators and/or law enforcement personnel to let them know a sex offender has been logged at the campus. The software can also screen for individuals with restraining orders, custody issues and more.

"Our cell phones ring daily with warnings of RSO's checking in at our schools-many of them are parents," says Allan Measom, President of Raptor Technologies. "Luckily, our software helps to warn the administrators and law enforcement so they may either ask them to leave, or in the case of a parent, monitor them while they are in the building."

"As in the Florida case Jessica Lunsford, John Couey would have been flagged as a sex offender if our software would have been in use at Homosassa Elementary School, where he worked as a mason for a short time," states Mr. Measom.

In today's climate of heightened concern for children's safety, administrators and parents alike are looking for a way to help keep their children safe. Because of this, our client base is rapidly expanding nationally.
