Alpine Pictures INC Picks Jenny Wade to Join Cast of "Love is the Drug"

Jenny Wade has agreed and come to terms with Alpine Pictures, Inc, in association with Box Office Productions LLC to star as Erin Sutherland, in their upcoming feature film "Love is the Drug", which begins filming in Los Angeles on April 25th.

Burbank, CA (PRWEB) April 22, 2005 -- Jenny Wade has garnered attention for her appearance on Project Greenlight 3, has had numerous guest appearances on some of televisions top rated shows and is exploding on the big screen in several feature films, including Monster-in-Law with Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda and Ice Harvest with John Cusack and Billy Bob Thornton.

In Alpine Pictures "Love is the Drug", Jenny Wade will portray the supporting character Erin Sutherland. Erin attends one of Californias top private schools. She survives on the fringes of a tight knit group of teens, best friend to Sara (Lizzy Caplan), ex-girlfriend of Lucas (D.J. Cotrona), and party-girl to the boys she meets. Erin is lonely and lost, constantly seeking affirmation of her beauty and worthiness. She confuses sex with intimacy and love, searches for an identity, and struggles with Saras popularity. Erin stands mute on the sidelines as the world crumbles apart for her friends.

Casting Directors Anne McCarthy and Jay Scully of Engine, helped negotiate the terms of the contract between Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and Alpine Pictures, Inc.

"Love is the Drug", written by Wesley Strick (Arachnophobia, Cape Fear, The Glass House), begins filming in Southern California on April 25th with up-and-comer Elliot Lester directing.

Alpine Pictures, Inc is 10 year-old independent film production and distribution company located in Burbank, CA. In addition to "Love is the Drug", Alpine just signed a five-picture deal with Resolution Independent of Australia and has the horror film Vampire Bachelor Party in development. Alpine is concentrating its best efforts to bring the company into the public arena this year.
