Pay Per Click Ads Grow in Popularity, as Email Marketing and Spam Decline in ROI. PPC Search Engines like, IpodUp.com, are Becoming the Choice of Online Advertising

There is a change occurring in the online advertising market as email marketing is losing its effectiveness, and pay per click advertising grows in popularity.

(PRWEB) April 22, 2005 -- There is a change occurring in the online advertising market as email marketing is losing its effectiveness, and pay per click advertising grows in popularity.

Until recently, email marketing has been the most popular method of reaching the masses on the internet, to promote businesses and services. Email marketing is continuing to decline in it's ROI,(Return On Investment)as its effectiveness to reach prospective customers is declining.

Why is email marketing declining? According to IpodUp.com VP of Marketing Perry Hersom, "There are several reasons. The recent CAN SPAM law has made it a less attractive advertising method. Most ISP's have now implemented overly stringent spam filters to reduce the amount of spam their customer's are receiving, even email they have asked to receive. Consumers are now able to change email addresses with ease and without cost. This has caused the number of bad email addresses to increase substantially. Due to the spam problem, consumers have become more cautious about giving out their primary email address. And, email marketing is just not tightly targeted to a specific audience".

Pay Per Click (PPC) search engines are picking up a large part of the advertising void created by the decrease in email marketing. Hersom goes on to say "We are very pleased to be in the highly targeted iPod and podcast niche of the pay per click market. We look forward to helping more advertisers convert their advertising methods to the more cost effective, and targeted advertising that pay per click provides".

IpodUp.com invites advertisers and consumers to visit IpodUp.com and let them fulfill your advertising and information needs.
