No Bread…No Pasta…Just Matzah!

JibJab Partners with AtomFilms® for Exclusive Release of Hit Passover Spoof
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Los Angeles, CA and San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) April 22, 2005 -- AtomFilms and JibJab have teamed up again for the exclusive release of JibJabs newest cartoon, "Matzah!" The hilarious hip-hop rap, written and performed by Eric Schwartz (aka Smooth-e), explores the Jewish ritual of only being able to eat Matzah during Passover. After a world premiere on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" last night, "Matzah!" is now available online at both www.atomfilms.com and www.JibJab.com.

Passover, which officially begins tonight, celebrates Moses and his people surviving in the desert for eight days on unleavened bread. The animated hip-hop star of "Matzah!" however, is less concerned with tradition and more concerned with the effects of unleavened bread on his digestive system and when hell be able to eat a sandwich again.

The last time JibJab and AtomFilms worked together, in 2004, the companies generated over 80 million views of the election spoofs "This Land" and "Good to Be in DC," surpassing the combined television audiences for the Republican and Democratic conventions.

"We're excited to partner with AtomFilms again on this release," states Gregg Spiridellis, co-founder of JibJab. "Their expertise in digital entertainment distribution makes them an invaluable partner for an independent creative content studio like JibJab."

"JibJab created a cultural phenomenon with 'This Land,' and they have another hit on their hands with 'Matzah!'" said Mika Salmi, CEO and founder of AtomFilms. We are so pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with the industrys most in-demand creative talent."
