Electronic Publishing Expert Expands "100 Hemingways" Challenge to 106

Successful electronic publishing and marketing expert Alan R. Bechtold took on the challenge April 22 of creating 100 "Hemingways" in six months' time. Now he's expanding his original challenge and intends to create 106 "Hemingways," in honor of the 106th anniversary of Hemingway's birth.

Bonita Springs, FL (PRWEB) April 28, 2005 -- Alan R. Bechtold, one of few people on Earth who has been publishing and marketing electronically for profit for more than 21 years, announced April 22 that he is taking on the challenge of creating 100 "Hemingways" in six months' time. Today, he announced he will expand that challenge to 106.

To accomplish this lofty goal, Bechtold says he will work closely with 106 people who are owners of a variety of businesses, and with people wanting to start a business from scratch, for six months. During that time, he will personally help each member of the group create an original E-book, launch an original E-zine and tie the two together into a successful electronic publishing "marketing machine."

"I want to prove that the artform so perfectly mastered by Hemingway, plus the power of the Internet, is the key to literally doubling or tripling the sales of any business," Bechtold said. "This same artform can be used to launch any new business and make it profitable in record time. That's why I've taken this challenge and made it public - so the world will see that electronic publishing is, thanks to the Internet, the easiest, most effective, and most inexpensive way to build any business."

Why expand an already near-impossible challenge, by adding even more members to the group? "On July 21, the world will celebrate the 106th anniversary of Hemingway's birth," Bechtold said. "I felt it was only fitting, even though it will certainly make my goal much tougher to accomplish, to increase the group's size, as a tribute to our legendary namesake."

Bechtold said the six added members will not pay the usual fee to join the group. Instead, he will be inducting six of his personal friends -- most of whom will be seasoned marketing professionals -- to fill the additional seats.

Every step of the group's process will be recorded and, eventually, made available to the public in the form of a complete course, so anyone can then duplicate the success of the original group of 106.

Meanwhile, the public is invited to watch Bechtold and his group of 106 as they work together to make his goal a reality, via a Weblog located at http://mastermind.sysop.com/blog. Bechtold will be posting frequent updates on the group's progress and members of the group will post comments about their own efforts and experiences.

"Everyone can watch as I create 106 marketing masterpieces," Bechtold added. "We'll be airing our triumphs and frustrations, and making all of our masterpieces available to the public, free of charge, as soon as they're ready for distribution. It's the closest thing you'll find to a reality TV show on the Web."

If there are still seats available, Bechtold said, visitors can also fill out an application and possibly join the group.

Alan R. Bechtold is president and CEO of BBS Press Service, Inc., a company he founded in 1984, specializing in electronic marketing and publishing solutions for businesses of all sizes. Bechtold's simple three-step E-Publishing system makes it easy for anyone, in any business -- even people without a business yet -- to tap the Internet and generate tremendous profits. Alan is currently available to the media for interviews, guest appearances and, for reference purposes, as a general Internet marketing and publishing media expert.
