100-Day Countdown to Harry Potter - Return to Hogwarts July 16
April 7 marks the start of the 100-day countdown to the publication of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Raincoast/Bloomsbury). Return to Hogwarts July 16!
(PRWEB) April 7, 2005 -- April marks the start of summer term at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Like their wizard brothers and sisters studying for N.E.W.T.s and O.W.L.s., Canadian students are hitting the books as well.
But this year, it is not just the countdown to the end of school, April 7 is the 100-day countdown to the publication of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Raincoast/Bloomsbury).
As Hermione will tell you, now is the time to start preparing. Hit the books!
If you have never met Hermione and haven't read a Harry Potter book, take your first ride on the Hogwarts Express with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Meet the Dursleys, they're lovely. Have a butterbeer with Hagrid--so soft and cuddly, you'll wish he was curled up in your lap.
For Harry Potter fans, you really must be ready. The Second War has begun. Voldemort's power and followers are increasing day by day.
In the final chapter of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge confirmed that He Who Must Not Be Named has returned. "It is with great regret that I must confirm that the wizard styling himself Lord--well, you know who I mean--is alive and among us again," said Fudge.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince promises to be a pivotal book in the series, unlocking many clues for both fans and first timers. J.K. Rowling has already hinted about the contents of this penultimate volume on her website, http://www.JKRowling.com.
What's going to happen next?
