StuffedBearCity.com Forms Partnership With NCCS

(PRWEB) May 1, 2005 -- Stuffedbearcity.com, an on line retailer of stuffed bears, has formed a partnership with The National Childrens Cancer Society (NCCS) to raise funds for programs and the care of children with Cancer. Through the partnership Stuffedbearcity.com will donate proceeds from the sale of a embroidered nine inch Childrens Cancer Awareness bear.

The driving mission and focus of our business is to raise money for those in need. We are so impressed with all the great work and programs at NCCS and very happy to be a fundraising partner for them. Based on St Louis MO and founded in 1987 NCCS, a non profit organization, has provided over $32 million in direct assistance to more then 15,000 children, working with the pediatric oncology units in over 200 hospitals nationally. The mission of NCCS is to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and reduce the risk of childrens cancer. NCCS provides payment support for treatment, opportunities for children with cancer for social and physical activities, an internet support network for families, programs for cancer survivors, distributes educational material and distributes pharmaceuticals and medical supplies internationally.
