Gilleland Poetry: Storoems and Poems, a New Poetry Book Featuring the Unusual Storoem Format

Gilleland Poetry: Storoems and Poems is the second published collection of poetry written by Harry E. Gilleland, Jr. This new collection of 180 storoems and poems offers hours of stimulating reading. Featured are many story-poems (or storoems) that entertain while provoking thought on a wide variety of subjects.

(PRWEB) May 1, 2005 -- This collection of poetry, written by Harry E. Gilleland, Jr., will entertain its readers by making them think about life, making them laugh, bringing a tear to their eyes, and leaving them pondering their emotions and beliefs. Contained within this collection are a variety of traditional poems, such as rhyming, free-verse, and acrostic, as well as a format coined by Gilleland as a storoem”. A storoem is a hybrid between a story and a poem, i.e. a story told with poetic techniques. These writings are poetry for the thinking person, be he/she someone who is a poetry lover or someone who normally does not read poetry. This poetry is easily readable and accessible to all – poetry for the poet and the common man alike.

Through the 180 storoems and poems in this collection, a large variety of subjects are addressed, including everyday life events, observations of nature, tales of fantasy, expressions of love, and much more. This wonderful collection will surprise and delight all readers.

This 205-page book was published by Lulu Press, where it is currently available as an e-book or a print book ( http://www.lulu.com/harry ).
