New "Divorced Club" Web Site Provides Online Forums for Divorcees

DivorcedClub.com, a new Web site for divorcees, provides online forums to help ease the trauma and pain of divorce by creating a strong support community.

Citrus Heights, CA (PRWEB) May 3, 2005 -- DivorcedClub.com, a newly launched Web site that provides online forums for divorcees, is a rare venture that enables its visitors to ease the pain and trauma of divorce through self-expression and a strong support network of peers.

"There's no question that a divorce can be very emotionally traumatic," says Brian Brandon, founder of DivorcedClub.com. "This website allows divorcees to share experiences and to support each other. That helps more than any standard therapy because there is a feeling that people out there understand your pain."

Brandon says DivorcedClub.com attempts to "keep things light yet effective." In order to keep things light and help ease the pain, the Web site encourages positive humor and light-heartedness through their logo and featured products. The company's logo is a ball-and-chain with a sprung lock, and its products section features T-shirts and bumper stickers with a caption that reads "Thank You For The Divorce."

"Half the battle is in recognizing the humor and joys still inherent in life, and DivorcedClub.com realizes that," Brandon says.

But registered users also have outlets to express themselves and more heavy-duty ammunition at their disposal, Brandon adds. A poetry section offers an arena not only for creativity but also to vent and shed emotional burdens. A live chat facility allows instant access to fellow divorcees, whether just to chew the fat or discuss weightier issues.

The online network of forums offers DivorcedClub.com members a chance to see a range of opinions and feedback on a number of issues that divorcees face today. Members may also contribute to the DivorcedClub.com quarterly newsletter, or merely just stand on the Soap Box and tell the world their views.

"DivorcedClub.com is a comprehensive avenue for divorcees to learn and hopefully prosper from," says Brandon. "You may find similar consequences and either gain insight, make a new friend or just get some relief from the overwhelming emotional pain of divorce. You might even show others a new beginning in life when they thought their world was ending."
