Joico and ISO Strut Down the Runway at Parsons School of Design, Best of the Best” Annual Fashion Show

Joico Hair Care and ISO forecast fall trends with the fashion designers of the future by sponsoring the Parsons School of Design Annual Fashion Show.

(PRWEB) May 12, 2005 -- Joico Hair Care and ISO were prominent sponsors at the Parsons School of Design Annual Fashion Show for graduating seniors. Tabitha Coffey, owner of Industrie Salon and head stylist for Joico and Renee Cohen, master stylist at Lepine New York collaborated with 22 budding designers to create looks that would transition through individual designs.

Paul Goldberger, Dean of Students introduced the fashion show, which consisted of 18 chosen collections of the 106 graduates, all Golden Thimble winners. The collections were described by Gunn as, a breadth of point of view,” and embracing innovation.” Jennifer Breeden was recognized as the winner of the Designer of the Year award, we will hear her name again.

The Look,” was natural and healthy with mega shine and lots of texture. From easy ponytails to more difficult chignons, Joico, the healthy hair company used products like Silk Result Instant Smoother and Blow Out Crème, to get stick straight looks while boosting the models hair with hydrolyzed silk proteins. To hold the hair for up dos, K-Pak Thermal Designing Spray was put to use. For the less controlled down look, stylist used Spray Glace´ from Joicos Styling and Finishing line. Tabitha Coffey, thought the overall look of the show spoke to the trends of the moment- stick straight.

ISO was in charge of the texture, whether it was the loose curls that bounced down the runway or the choppy layers. Bouncy Crème, a light crème that instantly rejuvenates curly hair by separating and defining curls helped the loose, long curls last down the long, grueling fashion runway. Cohen went for hard edges to counter balance the soft edges of the designs by using Daily Finish, a firm-fix hairspray that provides maximum control.
