Washington, DC (PRWEB) May 11, 2005 -- Kristina Morgan" Rose and Deandra Brooksie" Brooks will appear at the National Stationery Show® in New York City on Monday, May 16 to sign copies of their first book The Recovering Sorority girls' Guide to a Year's Worth of Perfect Parties (Andrews McMeel Publishing, $14.95, April 2005). Morgan and Brooksie will be hosted by publisher Andrews McMeel Universal in booth #1358 from 2:00 to 3:30 pm.

We are thrilled to participate in such a large and well recognized trade show," said Morgan.

According to George Little Management, LLC, the 59th annual National Stationery Show® will feature more than 100 international suppliers from 20 countries, including 30 first time participants. Running May 15 – 18, 2005, the show will feature a total of 1,400 exhibitors at New York Citys Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

We are especially excited because of this shows strong emphasis on social networking events," added Brooksie. Sorority recruitment provides women with the conversation skills needed to excel in these types of situations."

The Recovering Sorority girls' Guide to a Year's Worth of Perfect Parties is a comprehensive party-planning guide that includes menus, decoration ideas, mood points and additional recommendations for taking a party from great to first-rate. Rose and Brooks approach the genre from their sorority experience and draw on much of the vocabulary for collegiate sorority recruitment and social activities. In addition, they offer home entertaining enthusiasts the opportunity to join an organization devoted to living a life less ordinary - the Society of Recovering Sorority Girls or Rho Sigma Gamma.

Stop by booth #1358 to see us on Monday afternoon," invited Morgan.

Well be easy to spot. Just look for the women wearing tiaras," concluded Brooksie.

The Society of Recovering Sorority Girls is an elite organization devoted to a life less ordinary. Its founders, Kristina "Morgan" Rose and Deandra "Brooksie" Brooks firmly believe in applying many of the principles of collegiate Greek life to improve the leisure activities of young professionals everywhere. Morgan and Brooksie are also the authors of The Recovering Sorority Girls Guide to a Years Worth of Perfect Parties (Andrews McMeel Publishing, 2005)
