New Look to PABD.com Delivers Choice to Self-Publishers

The website provides an extensive range of tools, services and printing options delivering control for self-publishing authors.

London, UK (PRWEB) May 12, 2005 -- A new website for self-publishing writers has been launched today. The website www.pabd.com provides an extensive range of tools, services and printing options delivering control for independent publishers. Using print on-demand technology, writers can publish their book without the financial risk of traditional print runs and sell through its online book store.

PABD dramatically increases the flexibility and choice available to self-publishers from one service. Iain Plunkett, a founder and director of PABD, says, "All too often, the writer is asked to do the work or forced to accept a range of services with a large upfront price tag. From our experience, every writer is different. The PABD service allows the self-publisher to decide how much they want to do and how much they would like handled for them."

Key features of www.pabd.com:

*Choice of book formats:
Writers can select from three types of book. The PABD standard book uses automated templates to create professional books. The PABD PDF service allows self-publishers to submit a completed book. Alternatively, the writer can work with the design team to develop an unique PABD Bespoke Book.

*Choice of publishing solutions:
PABD offers two separate publishing packages. The PABD Standard Publishing enables the writer to select from PABD tools and services. Alternatively, writers can choose the PABD Publishing Plus package of tools and services as well as print on-demand book trade distribution to the UK and US.

*Choice of publishing services:
The writer can select the services they want. ISBN administration, a Legal Deposit service, and CIP administration are amongst the publishing services available to the writer.

*Choice of editorial services:
Working with a range of editorial professionals, PABD offers editing, proof reading, book assessment and jacket copywriting services. The writers can select as many or as few of these services as they require.

*Choice of sales & marketing tools:
PABD provides a range of tools and services to help the self-publishing writer promote their book. These include a Personal Selling Page, an online sales page, and entry into the PABD online bookstore free of charge.
