Planetwide Games Exhibits at E3 with First Million Dollar Prize Skill-Based Video Game Tournament
Planetwide Games promotes "RYL: Path of the Emperor" at E3 2005 in Kentia Hall Booth #6547 and at iHollywood Forum in the Fox Sports Skybox at the Staples Center.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 17, 2005 -- Planetwide Games, North American licensing rights owner of MMORPG "RYL: Path of the Emperor" will be exhibiting at the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3) 2005 in Kentia Hall Booth #6547. "RYL: Path of the Emperor" will be the first Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game to offer a $1,000,000 Grand Prize to the winner of a Player vs. Player Skill-Based Tournament. The "RYL" qualifying tournament will start July 1, 2005 and will end April 30, 2006, culminating in a Final Tournament event to be broadcast live and to take place in conjunction with next year's E3 Video Game Expo in May 2006.
Planetwide will also be sponsoring the iHollywood Forum event at E3 in the Fox Skybox in the Staples Center all day on Thursday, May 19. Highlights include Planetwide President, Kevin Donovan, speaking on panels from 3:45 to 5:00pm discussing the MMO industry and the profitability of the business. Other panel members including Steve Parkis, VP Premier Products of Disney Online and Steve Hoffman, Executive Producer of Mobile Games and Entertainment for InfoSpace Mobile, will discuss the logistics of MMORPG's and the future of online gaming.
