Curator's Statement:
"Non-objective art is by its own terms unrestrained, limitless, never boxed in. Principles of color, composition and the like, apply; however, they often become the substance and soul of the artwork rather than simply its structure.

The artists in this exhibit use a wide variety of mediums, materials and dimensions. Color is bright or almost non-existent. Form is organic or formal. Style is minimalist or dense. Texture is smooth or it is rough terrain.    Images are painted, printed, strung, entwined, molded, carved, welded and photographed.

As the color white encompasses the entire spectrum, so does non-objective art encompass all objects. Quite aside from the intent of the artist, it is the viewer who gives the work its endless meaning."

Runs through August 31, 2005
Open to the public Wednesdays through Saturdays, 4-7 or by appointment.
