Portland, Oregon Becomes Focal Point To Optical Interoperability Taking Place in China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and United States

VeriLAN, Inc. has created a secure global IP network that interconnects the labs of China Telecom, NTT Laboratories, Verizon, AT&T, Deutsche Telekom and Telecom Italia. The network will allow the Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) member companies to demonstrate a multi-carrier Ethernet service across a SONET/SDH multi-vendor environment.

Portland, OR (PRWEB) May 31, 2005 -- VeriLAN, Inc., has created a secure global IP network that interconnects the labs of China Telecom, NTT Laboratories, Verizon, AT&T, Deutsche Telekom and Telecom Italia. The network will allow the Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) member companies to demonstrate a multi-carrier Ethernet service across a SONET/SDH multi-vendor environment. A public demonstration of the testing will take place at SUPERCOMM 2005, June 7-9, in Chicago.
