Dunlap saw the need for the topic-specific sites after searching for information on dog collars to aid in training. I found that information on dog collars was sparse. The all-in-one dog sites provide a little bit of information on a number of topics rather than a lot of information on one topic."

Dunlap says he was surprised by how much dog collar information there was on the Internet that wasnt being offered by the all-in-one sites. He researched several different topics and found that the all-in-one sites were only touching the surface of each topic.
