Biblio.com Reaches 20 Million Listing Mark

Biblio.com, one of the world's largest suppliers of used, rare, and out-of-print books announced today that they are now listing 20 million titles through their online service. (PRWEB) June 4, 2005 -- Biblio.com, one of the world's largest suppliers of used, rare, and out-of-print books announced today that they are now listing 20 million titles through their online service. Biblio.com provides an online service connecting book buyers and collectors with thousands of independent booksellers worldwide.

In the summer of 2004 Biblio.com was listing more than nine million titles, and has showed continued growth in attracting new independent booksellers to the online listing service. Many booksellers are choosing Biblio.com to list their inventory to replace other venues they usually list with due to fierce competition on some of the larger sites on the web.

"It is important to us that we focus on quality books, from quality independent booksellers, and maintain Biblio as a marketplace where customers come to expect a high level of service," said Brendan Sherar, President and CEO of Biblio.com, Inc.

Biblio.com continues to grow sales for the booksellers that list with them with ever increasing web site traffic, and new strategic partnerships through the OCLC, and Australian partner, BiblioQuest International.

Biblio has shown its staying power in the used, rare, and out-of-print market with good strategic positioning in the industry and by growing steadily since the companys inception.

Biblio.com
Biblio.com Inc. is now one of the leading sources for used, rare, out-of-print, and hard-to-find books in the world. With the launch of their online services in February 2003, Biblio.com entered a market dominated by several major companies, as well as more than a dozen smaller competitors. With substantial growth in the last two years, Biblio.com has gone from a fledgling company to becoming the third largest site of its kind in the world. Biblio.com currently offers 20 million titles from 2850 independent booksellers in 24 countries.
