Prominent Employment Attorney Publishes New Two Volume Practice Guide on Litigating Employment Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation Cases

Helmer Friedman, LLP congratulates Andrew H. Friedman on the publication of his new book -- Litigating Employment Discrimination Cases (2005 James Publications).

(PRWEB) June 7, 2005 -- Helmer • Friedman, LLP – a Los Angeles, California based boutique litigation firm – is very pleased to congratulate name partner Andrew H. Friedman on the publication of his new book – Litigating Employment Discrimination Cases. With an introduction by the Honorable John T. Nixon (United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee), Mr. Friedman's 1300 page practice guide is designed to provide the employment law practitioner with strategies, tactics and forms to successfully handle employment discrimination cases from case inception through trial.

Mr. Friedman is a 1989 graduate of the Cornell Law School where he served on the Board of Editors of the Cornell Law Review. Following law school, Mr. Friedman served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John T. Nixon (United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee) before working in the labor and employment law departments of two of the nations premier management-side law firms – Paul Hastings LLP and Bryan Cave LLP.

Mr. Friedman, who spent more than 5 years working on the book, said: I hope that this book can contribute to the practice of employment law and help all employment law practitioners – whether they represent plaintiffs or defendants or whether they are neutrals – to fully implement the anti-discrimination provisions of federal laws like Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964."

According to Gregory D. Helmer, Mr. Friedmans law partner at Helmer & Friedman: Mr. Friedmans book is an essential component of an employment lawyers library. It is an easy-to-read reference guide that provides the employment practitioner with a practical, step-by-step approach to litigating employment discrimination and harassment cases. It includes invaluable insights that Mr. Friedman learned from his unique experience on both the plaintiff and defense bars. I am certain that it will soon be regarded as the leading treatise in this area of law."

Mr. Friedmans book was published by James Publishing Company in May 2005.
