Avoid any Surgical Treatment for Chronic Back Pain Problems

Avoid Surgery for back pain ailments

(PRWEB) June 9, 2005 -- Many nationally recognized pain management centers are now suggesting spinal cord stimulators, a risky surgery, to relieve pain. Unfortunately, the pain relief is minimal and many patients still have to have a narcotic backing” to have a normal life.

This is the frank conclusion of pain specialist, Dr. Owen Rogal, founder of The Pain Center, in Center City Philadelphia, and a leading pain specialist for over 25 years.

Spinal cord stimulators use an electrical device that send a signal to electrodes to a point near a nerve that supposedly interferes with transmission of the pain signal, he explains.

All this for minimal relief and then a lifetime of drug use,” says Dr. Rogal who disdains drugs in his work, especially the powerful fentanyl, often prescribed as a follow-up to the spinal cord stimulator.

Fentanyl is ten times more powerful than morphine.” he declares. Dr. Rogal calls fentanyl instant addiction”, adding this is just more poison for the system.”

Instead, Dr. Rogal and his medical staff use a method he discovered and introduced successfully some fifteen years ago, called The RFS.”
The RFS is comprised of two parts; if a simple Novocain injection will decrease the pain, the RFS will remove the pain permanently, he stated.

Dr. Rogal feels the RFS is the best pain relief in the entire World.
