Job Boards Are the Way Forward for Staffing Companies

This .Net-based applicant portal is the latest addition to TempWorks suite of web-based products. From a job board on a staffing companys Web site, an applicant can quickly complete an online application and submit a resume, automatically creating a record within the TempWorks core system. The Applicant Portal also allows prospective employees to search the staffing companys database of open jobs that may fit their qualifications. Applicants then have the option to view further details, submit an email to alert the staffing company, add it to their job card for further review or mail it to a friend.

The Applicant Portal is built on top of the .Net framework introduced with TwX, TempWorks new Web-based front end application. It allows for faster application development by using existing business logic and data layer .Net assemblies. Predefined pages can be added and removed from a wizard-style state engine without recompiling the Web applications.
