Austin, TX, (PRWEB) June 29, 2005

CyberTavern, LLC, creator of clustering Metasearch engine iBoogie.com, today announced that Infotrieve, Inc., has completed the implementation of their meta-search content clustering technology product Clusterizer as one component within the new Infotrieve Life Science Research Center. Using Clusterizer, the Life Science Research Center will enable users to simplify research and view hierarchical relationships across different types of documents such as journal articles, patents, gene records, news articles and more.

Clusterizer is a topic clustering or auto-categorization technology that organizes search results utilizing real-time term extraction and clustering, as well as linguistical and statistical clustering. Search results are dynamically organized into hierarchies of topics and subtopics in a file-folder-tree display for easy identification of common themes.

“We looked closely at a number of clustering solutions to determine which one met the specific needs of our Life Science Research Center users,” said Jenny Connelly, Infotrieve Director of Marketing and Product Management. “We determined that the Clusterizer product ultimately embodied the features and benefits that we required.”

Infotrieve’s Life Science Research Center was released in May 2005. The Life Science Research Center simplifies scientists’ daily workflow by providing a robust user interface to search diverse types of scientific, technical, and medical (STM) information, including full-text journal articles, and to identify relationships across traditionally disparate sources of content.
