Women Celebrate Menstruation and Menopause in Local Moonlodge

The Wise Woman Center in Woodstock, NY, is home to many wonderful woman-empowering activities throughout the year. Among these are the Moonlodge gatherings that the Wise Woman Center and Susun Weed, renowned herbalist and author of womens health books, have been offering the public for over 20 years.

(PRWEB) July 4, 2005 -- The Wise Woman Center in Woodstock, NY, is home to many wonderful woman-empowering activities throughout the year. Among these are the Moonlodge gatherings that the Wise Woman Center and Susun Weed, renowned herbalist and author of womens health books, have been offering the public for over 20 years.

These gatherings are free and open to women of all ages. Participants are welcome to come sing, dance, and pass the talking stick and honor womens wisdom. Indoors or out, depending on the weather, each visit is sure to be a unique experience shaped by the moment and women present.

Womens Sacred Moonlodges are held on a nearly monthly basis, always on a Friday. The remaining dates for 2005 are July 22, August 5, August 19, September 23, and October 14.

There is no need to register, simply arrive between 6:45pm and 7:15pm. Please arrange to stay for the entire moonlodge.
