(PRWEB) July 2, 2005 -- The Brooke Trace Gallery July Exhibit Opening will display original artwork ranging from watercolor and oil on canvas to photography and sculpture. July's theme, "Tropical summer breezes are here" has arrived. Featured artists include Jesse Thoreson, John Bowen, Irwin Weintraub, Tripp Harrison, Jeannette Ulrich, Ashton Howard, Lynn Desaulniers, Max Gold, Brooke Trace and more. Invited are those that appreciate the arts in and around Fort Lauderdale.
The Pet Project is about people and their companion animals. This charitable organization's goal is to promote and preserve the human/animal bond for persons living with life threatening or severely disabling diseases. For these people their beloved pets offer companionship, love, diversion and a reason to get up each morning. it has been accomplished by having a monthly pet food bank and vaccination clinic. The Brooke Trace Gallery and local business's has donated many wonderful items for the Silent Auction being held between 6:00pm – 9:30pm. Funds raised through this event will support the Pet Projects Programs. The second Friday of the month has been selected for featuring artist's exhibitions. Other special sponsors include The New Auto Toy Store and The Aqua Toy Store. Refreshments will be served complimentary H’ors D’ouvres.
The event will take place Friday July 8, from 6-10pm at 1098 NE 45th St, Oakland Park.
