FlowSense Signed Teaming Agreement With Vietnam National Institute of Labor Protection to Jointly Pursue Environmental Projects in Vietnam

FlowSense announced today that it has signed a teaming agreement with Vietnam National Institute of Labor Protection to jointly pursue environmental projects in Vietnam.

Maple Grove, MN (PRWEB) July 8, 2005 -- FlowSense announced today that it has signed a teaming agreement with Vietnam National Institute of Labor Protection to jointly pursue environmental projects in Vietnam.

This teaming agreement provides both FlowSense and Vietnam National Institute of Labor Protection to cooperatively address occupational safety and health (OHS) and environmental protection, which are some of the most important issues regarding socioeconomic development in Vietnam,” stated Paul Smallwood, founder and CEO of FlowSense. Our joint effort has been in development since FlowSenses trade mission to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in 2004, during which we conducted a series of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) seminars. We are dedicated to helping Vietnam build awareness in environmental protection, particularly in rural areas where local communities may not be familiar with harmful by-products such as carbon monoxide poisoning,” said Smallwood.

We are very excited to have the opportunity to work with FlowSense, considering that the company is well established in the United States and has dedicated company resources to helping our country,” said Dr. Le Van Trinh, director of Vietnam National Institute of Labor Protection. Mr. Smallwood, who grew up in Vietnam, understands the environmental issues facing the country. His passion and dedication in helping us is a win-win in our teaming agreement.”

FlowSense will be leading the cooperative effort aimed at obtaining funding from both public and private sectors. This funding will be used to provide financial aid for much needed projects including education, training, and preventative programs in both health and environmental protection.

Vietnam National Institute of Labor Protection (NILP) was established on May 1, 1971 with headquarters in Hanoi and institutes, centers, and offices in Ho chi Minh City and in Danang City. Entrusted by the Government and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, NILP's mission is to conduct research tasks and provide consultation on science and technology in occupational safety, health, and environmental protection in accordance with government regulations. NILP has over 195 staff members and has conducted hundreds of research and application projects for improving working condition and environmental protection such as air emission, wastewater, solid waste treatment and clean water supply.

FlowSense LLC is an award-winning veteran owned small business (VOSB) and 8(a)/SDB certified technology company providing integrated technical solutions in environmental systems (air and water quality management), security technology (biometric access control), and industrial solutions (general contracting).
