Zion Global Ministries Theatre Troupe Presents Charles McClinon's New Musical "The Heavenly Choir"

Zion Global Ministries Theatre Troupe of West Chester, Ohio presents the family-friendly Gospel musical The Heavenly Choir on Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 at 8:00 p.m.

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) July 8, 2005 -- Zion Global Ministries Theatre Troupe presents the family-friendly Gospel musical The Heavenly Choir on Friday, July 15 and Saturday July 16 at 8:00 p.m. at 9180 Cincinnati-Columbus Road, West Chester, Ohio. The musical production of The Heavenly Choir is Zion Global Ministries Theatre Troupe's first full-length theatrical production.

The Heavenly Choir is a Gospel Musical that features Hezekiah, a national recording artist who has a dream during his estranged brothers funeral. While dreaming, Hezekiah encounters the angel Gabriel and three Choirmasters who take him on a musical journey in heaven and help him to realize that his talents alone will not qualify him for the Heavenly Choir."

The Heavenly Choir is written by Charles McClinnon and directed by Kent and Faith Robinson. The writer and directors are founding members of The Cincinnati Black Theatre Co. and members in a number of theatre groups and productions citywide. Between the three of them, they have performed, directed, produced, and staged numerous productions in the Greater Cincinnati theatre community.

This event is free and open to the public. A Free Will Offering will be accepted on each night of the performance.

Members of the cast and their roles include HEZEKIAH-Vincent Stroud; GABRIEL-Kent Robinson; DANIEL-Derrick Carter; PREACHER-Steve Lovett; CHOIRMASTER 1-D'Angel Smith; CHOIRMASTER 2- Jessie Whitfield; CHOIRMASTER 3-Catherine Stroud; CHORUS-Rita Robinson, Nikea Sisney, Karen Lipscomb, Judi Glaze, Mary Freeman, Angela McClinon, and Charles McClinon.
