Voxeo Executives Selected to Present Conference Sessions At SpeechTEK 2005 and VOX 2005

Topics Include CCXML, Hybrid Deployment, IVR for Health Care, and More

ORLANDO, FL (PRWEB) July 29, 2005 - Voxeo Corporation, the leading provider of standards-based Interactive Voice Response (IVR) platforms and hosting, announced today that its CEO and CTO have both been selected to speak at SpeechTEK 2005 and VOX 2005, which will take place this year Aug. 1-4 at the Marriott Marquis in New York, NY. CEO, Jonathan Taylor, and CTO, RJ Auburn, will both represent Voxeo in multiple sessions during the four-day conference.

Jonathan Taylor will take part in a panel discussion on the choice between hosted and premise IVR systems. The panel, entitled Hosted vs. CPE - Which is the Best Option for You?" will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005 from 2:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. As one of the only standards-based IVR companies to offer both hosted and customer premise equipment (CPE) solutions, Voxeo has the experience to offer an objective and unbiased perspective on both sides of the issue.

Taylor will also participate in the Health Care Vertical Market Workshop being held at SpeechTEK, where he and Stan Nowak, CEO of Silverlink Communications, will discuss how speech technologies are being used to communicate directly with health care patients. A Voxeo customer and partner, Silverlink is the leader in personalized voice solutions for client communication, focused on the healthcare market.

RJ Auburn has also been asked to teach several sessions at SpeechTEK University," a series of briefings on technical topics of interest to speech and IVR developers. Among the session being taught by Auburn: Creating and Deploying the Next Generation of Speech Apps - Telephony Meets the Web," In-Depth Tutorials: Speech Applications, Languages and Techniques," and Latest Languages for Developing Speech Applications."

Jonathan Taylor developed one of the first XML IVR languages and has led Voxeo's transition from venture funding to a profitable, employee owned company. RJ Auburn, currently the chair of the W3C CCXML Working Group, is considered one of the world's foremost authorities on call control and voice applications.

This marks the fourth time in as many years that Voxeo executives have been chosen to speak at the speech industry's leading conference. Voxeo will also be exhibiting at SpeechTEK, located at Booth # 711.
