NextG Networks Grows as Carriers' Networks Expand - NextG Networks' Adds Key Executives, Expands to Larger Facilities

NextG Networks is growing as its muni-cellular networks continue to be in strong demand from cellular, PCS, and Wi-Fi wireless operators. In order to support this robust growth, NextG has recently hired key executives to fill the roles of CFO, VP of Business Development, and VP of Strategic Marketing, and moved its headquarters to larger facilities in San Jose, California.

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) August 2, 2005 -- NextG Networks is growing as its muni-cellular networks continue to be in strong demand from cellular, PCS, and Wi-Fi wireless operators. In order to support this robust growth, NextG has recently hired key executives to fill the roles of CFO, VP of Business Development, and VP of Strategic Marketing, and moved its headquarters to larger facilities in San Jose, California.

Because NextG employs small, unobtrusive, low power, and muni-cells instead of traditional cell towers and rooftop antennas, NextG solves wireless coverage and capacity problems with community-friendly networks. To meet the strong demand for muni-cellular networks, NextG Networks is proud to announce these recent additions to the NextG team:

Mr. Ray Ostby, CFO, has worked in finance for high technology companies throughout the Silicon Valley since 1978 and at the CFO level since 1985. He has a strong record of success including two IPOs, several private placements, and M&A transactions. Mr. Ostby brings significant expertise in financial management, corporate compliance, contract negotiations, patents, lawsuits, and human resources to NextG Networks. His previous companies include: ATMEL Corporation, KBC Pharma, Verplex Design Systems, Quickturn Design Systems, Force Computers, Intel and Arraycomm.

Mr. Bo Piekarski, VP of Business Development, is a 22-year veteran of the wireless industry having worked in RF, microwave, PCS, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, W-CDMA, and Software Defined Radio (SDR). Mr. Piekarski brings significant experience to NextG from companies across the WAN value chain. Prior to being VP of Business Development for TelAsic, an IC spinout from Raytheon, he was GM of Intels Wireless WAN Operation, VP of Strategic Business for Omnipoint, and held a variety of executive business development and marketing positions at Ericssons Wireless Communications Division including VP of Business Development, VP of the GSM Business Unit, and VP of the PCS Unit.

Mr. Keith Radousky, VP of Strategic Marketing, began his 25-year wireless career in 1980 in Motorolas land-mobile radio products. He then became part of the team that launched Cellular One (SBC) in Chicago in 1985, moving to LA Cellular (BellSouth –AT&T), the worlds largest wireless network, as their Director of Engineering in 1988. For over a decade at BellSouth and Cingular Wireless, he held several executive positions including Executive Director of Engineering and Advanced Technologies. Most recently, he built a successful Wall Street consulting business and has contracted with and advised many start-up and established companies including fSona, Flarion, Powerwave, Siemens.

To embrace this growth in personnel and the increased demand for muni-cellular networks, NextGs headquarters has moved to larger facilities that increase space available for network operations, network monitoring center, pre-deployment staging, research and development, test and set up, and equipment inventory. NextG Networks has moved to 2166 OToole Ave in San Jose, California.
