A Humble Look Back So That Others May Find Hope and Look Forward

(PRWEB) August 10, 2005 -- Jay Kolo the forty-four year old inspirational author turned public speaker will be in the Chicago area Sept. 20-21.
Mr. Kolo who is the founder of Journey with Jay, Inc. will be in town to prepare for his inaugural speaking tour which kicks off this fall.
Mr. Kolo will be returning to the area's in which he spent so many years hopeless, helpless and often homeless.
"I feel the need to return to this area and reclaim the original passion that burned within when I wrote my first novel 'The Terminal Game.' I must remember how bad things once were and show others how wonderful life can become," says Kolo whose last drink was Aug. 9, 1995.
A speaking tour from the heart will deal with alcohol abuse and what it takes to truly find the strength and courage within to make permanent sobriety the norm. This is what Mr. Kolo wishes to convey as he prepares for what he hopes will be a long and successful campaign in an area which to him is new yet a rewarding challenge.
"Sobering up ten years ago was the hard part. I did not walk into a treatment center on a winning streak. I needed direction, hope and belief that there was a way I could sober up and once I was back in the real world maintain my new found and fragile sobriety," says Kolo in a sincere state of reflection.
Simply put his message is powerful, honest and from the heart.
If you would like to meet with Mr. Kolo to discuss sobriety awareness he will be at Champions Sports Restaurant located in the Chicago O'hare Marriott 8535 W. Higgins Rd. on Sept. 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. He will have copies of his three novels available for sale.
