Staging® to Improve Lives: Local Stagers to perform one-day makeover for 'Homestretch' residents.

Maryland Home Stagers volunteer for 'Worldwide Staging Service Day' Staging® to Improve Lives! Several local staging professionals will donate their skills and time to a family in need.

(PRWEB) August 14, 2005 -- StagedHomes.com- originators of the Home Staging concept has established its IAHSP (International Association of Home Staging Professionals) Foundation and is proud to announce its first annual 'Worldwide Staging Service Day' on September 17th, 2005.

ASP's (Accredited Staging Professionals) across the United States and Canada have found organizations and individuals in their communities who are in need of Staging services. Places such as Nursing Homes, Schools, Women's Homes and Shelters are potential candidates to be Staged. ASP's will be volunteering their time, talents and personal resources to work for the betterment of the communities that they serve; and transitively enhance the quality of lives through service to others.

Barb Schwarz, President and Founder of StagedHomes.com and IAHSP says, It is with great enthusiasm and joy that we give back to the communities that we live and work in." Schwarz has coined the phrase 'Think globally, act locally through the world of home Staging' to be the theme for the Worldwide Staging Service Day. Schwarz pioneered the concept of Home Staging in 1972 and since 1985 has taught over 600,000 real estate agents and interior decorators her Staging principles. Schwarz added, Through the magical power of Staging we create beauty, reduce stress and improve the value of Real Estate and lives."

A perfect example of what the IAHSP can do is in the Washington DC area; the IAHSP Washington DC Chapter has selected 'Homestretch,' an organization which provide family shelter and intensive programs to enable and empower families and individuals who are in the throes of homelessness and abusive situations. The DC Chapter of IAHSP is happy to donate their time and resources to such a worthy cause. I would like to personally challenge IAHSP chapters worldwide to set their goals high and work diligently towards their goals of community involvement and service."

*If you would like to locate an IAHSP Chapter in your area to volunteer or help our IAHSP Worldwide Staging Service Day, please contact IAHSP International 800-392-7161 for the appropriate guidelines to do so.
